Jan 28, 2011 12:33 AM

It looks like Sony is adding some cool features to their upcoming portable game system called NGP (Next Generation Portable).

It will have a front and rear camera & Six-axis motion sensing system (three-axis gyroscope, three-axis accelerometer), Three-axis electronic compass. This will be key in making a cool Augmented Reality gaming system. It will have GPS and WiFi which make it a AR geo compatible, if they want to. A few other cool features are; Multi touch pad (capacitive type), Mobile network connectivity (3G), ARM® Cortex™-A9 core (4 core).

Lot's of games will be available , such as,  Uncharted, Killzone, Call of Duty, but the one I found that looks cool is Reality Fighters. Here are a few screen shots of what I have found:

Action figures engaged in a playful duel on a tabletop.

A collection of kitchen items including cups, a blender, and bananas on a table.

Pretty cool!
